The Figaro Awards are the most prestigious hairdressing awards that exist nationwide. This year the 6th Edition is celebrated. Our hairdresser in Valencia has been chosen as one of the 3 finalists in the category ” Male Commercial Collection “.

In it, the work of hairdressers and stylists in men’s haircuts is rewarded. Although for us it is already an honor that our name is among the top 3, we are going to give everything to win the grand final!

What are the Figaro Awards ?

Figaro is undoubtedly the name of the most famous (fictional) barber of all time. Today its name is the hallmark of an exclusive club that houses the most prestigious stylists and hairdressing professionals in Spain. Any professional who wishes can participate and be eligible for one of the prizes in the different categories.

This ambitious project arose from the union of a group of great professionals in the sector. Its objective: To ensure that the workers who are part of this industry have professional recognition at all levels. Something similar to what has been achieved by other guilds such as gastronomy, cinema or fashion.

The challenge that the Fígaro Club faces is not easy: to ensure that the work of the people who make up this sector is known within and outside our borders and that it has increasing international recognition. The Spanish Hairdressing Awards granted by the Figaro Club are intended to energize the sector and elevate it to the category of art. Among other things, the work, innovation, creativity and artistic talent of Spanish professionals are valued.

Since 2010, the popularity of these awards, like the opera Figaro, from which they take their name, has been “in crescendo”. This year Desancho will fight to win in our category and thus join names that have already triumphed in theirs, such as Alberto Cerdán or Lluis Llongueras.
